Statement to Voters

John Hannah is the ISP candidate for Armadale and Blackridge ward. He is an ISP office bearer and treasurer of the Lothian Branch.

In his spare time, John enjoys music and hill walking and has been a keen martial artist.

John was born in West Lothian and raised in the Armadale and Blackridge ward. Working from home and internationally as a Business Analyst on business operational change programmes, John engages with people from all over the world to help identify and solve problems and issues.

John understands that the current cost of living crisis is creating anxiety. Care services are stretched and under pressure. Poverty is increasing.

John believes that as a councilor, West Lothian Council has a part to play in alleviating some of those concerns.

Environmental issues are a key area of interest for many residents, and John thinks that West Lothian Council should be doing more to tackle fly-tipping and environmental pollution.

A firm supporter of human rights, John believes that no one should be left behind and that anyone who requires help and assistance should get it.

There are many local issues to address, and John will work hard to deliver that change for the community across Armadale, Blackridge, Bridgehouse, Torphichen, and Westfield.
