Dr. Keith Baker is a Researcher in Fuel Poverty and Energy Policy at the Built Environment Asset Management (BEAM) Centre at Glasgow Caledonian University; a Co-founder of The Energy Poverty Research initiative; a member of Common Weal's Energy Group; and an Associate of 100% Renewable UK.
He is also a co-editor of the recent books ‘A Critical Review of Scottish Renewable and Low Carbon Energy Policy’ and ‘The Palgrave Handbook of Managing Fossil Fuels and Energy Transitions.
In this forum, Keith will give his take on the Scottish Government's progress on tackling climate change, decarbonising energy and buildings, and addressing fuel poverty, and explain the background to Common Weal's '21 for 21' climate actions campaign and how we can all help take them forward.
He will then open a discussion on how we can empower and enable communities and individuals to take these issues into their own hands and succeed where the Scottish Government is failing.
Please bring your questions and ideas on anything to do with climate change, energy, buildings, and fuel poverty.
